The key of success of a turnkey monitoring solution for harbor traffic control

The port of Acajutla in El Salvador sought out TIMEZERO technology to monitor maritime traffic in a zone which has a high frequency of traffic within a tight stretch of water. The management team that runs the port decided to optimize their control over merchant ships entering and leaving by installing a surveillance system.

Our partner Globalcom based in El Salvador took care of the installation. The company specializes in implementing security systems for infrastructures that require the best security possible such as, airports or penitentiary centers. For the first time and with the help of the TIMEZERO team, the company integrated a maritime surveillance system along the coast of El Salvador.

The port now boasts a fully equipped surveillance system with permanent access available to both management and information technology teams. In the control center, 3 screens were installed so that information from the various devices could be displayed in tandem. Before putting into place TZ Coastal Monitoring, the surveillance system for the port of Acajutla was made up of a single AIS receiver.
